Wooahh, can't believe they're removing the DeviantGear side of the store! I wonder why? Probably because the costs are too much..? No idea.

I was actually able to get myself a bag from there, which I really love. I got the Nomad bag ([link], because when I entered the Merrell Diorama contest ([link] they couldn't/didn't send me the $50 iTunes card as part of my semi-finalist prize.. so they gave the points equivalent which I spent on the bag!

I really like the bag (it's actually super big) and I'm sad that now no one else will be able to get it. ): Guess it makes my bag a little more special though.

PERSONAL

Hey everyone! I've been super inactive this month, and that's for a few reasons:

-The camera I use to take photos of the stuff I've made hasn't been at home, it's my brothers camera and he has been taking it to school to for project, haha. I never seem to see it at home! In addition to this his Photoshop doesn't seem to enjoy working so even when I did take photos I couldn't compile them..
But it's ok now, whenever he does bring his camera home I'll just take a heap of photos of what I've made. I've also managed to install a copy of Adobe CS2 on my computer so I can edit the photos on my own laptop now, haha.

-University! I'm not sure if I've told you guys yet but I'm hoping to go on exchange in my second semester, which is the September semester(which is the first semester for the northern hemisphere, confusing much?) . Anyway, not only do I need good grades, I also need to do all his form filling (which is somewhat time consuming cos I needed to find out a lot of information on my own..), haha. I will actually start a blog if I'm able to go.

-and finally, a week ago I found out about an art competition for students who go to my university. Unfortunately I found out about it super late because it ended today.... So I've been frantically working on that art piece to get it done, and luckily I did finish it! I will upload it in due time, but I think I'll upload what I've made in chronological order.

So hopefully that wall of text was nice and interesting to read, haha. I realized I really enjoy entering competitions, having a concept to work on is a great source of inspiration.
