Wow, finally a clay tutorial! The first thing that was on my to-do list that I've actually completed. @__@ I know you guys have been asking for a tutorial for a while, so now you may know the secrets to how I make clay figurines, haha.
Why a llama? Well when I made my ones I realised that they were quite simple to make, and since a few of you guys (my watchers) had asked for a tutorial, I figured that a llama was a good way to go, easy and very deviantart-y.
Why foil? It makes your figurine lighter, faster to bake and you use less clay.
Clarification: To soften clay you can work it with your fingers, like massage it etc.
Remember, the tutorial goes from left to right, not down. n_n; I hope you guys find this useful! It really could be used to any animal. This is the technique I use for ALL of my clay creations, so yeah, just adapt it to your needs.
