PL: Professor Hershel Layton

Graar. I've got a bit of a Pokemon art block. D: Sorry guys if you were expecting Pokemon! My super secret awesome project will make you happy though.

Soo... he began life as a chibi Bibarel, yup. Once I made the body and the head I was like, 'This doesn't look a Bibarel! I should make it into a human.. but who? And doing what?' and a bunch of other ideas later, Professor Layton fishing was born.

The hardest part was probably tying the thread to those loops, but I figured out a great way to do it! Since the loops weren't 'baked into' the bobber and the rod, they slipped out easily! So I just tied the string to the loops while they weren't attached to the clay figurines.

He is about 9.5cm tall, made with polymer clay and painted with acrylics, and glazed.

I loove how he turned out. He's Professor Layton!! Ahhh!

EDIT: ugh, his skin looks so dark here. >_<
